Fowl cholera can also occur in duck production.

Causal Organism - Bacteria

Occurrence age - 3 months age and also the adult chickens

Symptoms - High body temperature, drooling from the mouth, swollen of face, chocolate color diarrhea, dark-brown lesions on face, comb and neck when die.

Prevention and Caring - Vaccination every 6 months, starting from 3 months age. Prevent rats in the chicken house as they carry diseases. Isolate infected chickens and treat with antibiotic powder mixed with water.
