How to prune cashew tree during fruiting

 Twice a year, before flowering (October) and especially after harvest (April or May)

 Prune diseased or insect-damaged branches, branches that overlap, inner or lower branches, and other branches that do not fit the original shape.

 Prune branches that grow beyond the desired height (too high or too low)

 Prune useless branches that take up nutrients

 Prune or burn the cut branches.
