Twice a year, before flowering (October) and especially after harvest (April or May)
Prune diseased or insect-damaged branches, branches that overlap, inner or lower branches, and other branches that do not fit the original shape.
Prune branches that grow beyond the desired height (too high or too low)
Prune useless branches that take up nutrients
Prune or burn the cut branches.
