Causal Organism - Protozoa

Occurrence age - 6 weeks to 3 months age

Symptoms - Becoming long feathers and slow growth rate and reduce body size, loss of appetite and decrease eating rate, presence of blood in droppings

 

Prevention and Curing - Drinking water must be clean. Wash drinkers regularly. Treat sick chickens with an antibiotic powder mixed with water.
