Chickens are freely raised naturally without fencing.
Free-range chicken meat and eggs are highly nutritious and get higher prices.
Free-range eggs are popular both domestically and internationally.
With a free-rage rearing system, chickens can experience being attacked by predators, having injuries, eating poisonous substances, and easily die while grazing freely.
In addition, the cleanliness and quality of feeds and water could be checked properly.
When a free-range chicken rearing system is practiced, it is necessary to check the presence of chemical substances in the soil and the existence of arsenic and minerals in the water. Also, the chickens should be provided natural feed such as oil cakes and corn.
If the above facts can be properly prepared, free-range rearing system is effective for indigenous chicken producers, and able to produce nutritious eggs and meat.
