Hens with wide pubic bone and reaching maturity stage earlier, should be selected for breeding.
For laying hens selection, hens that have thick feathers with good brooding capacity and good rearing efficiency, should be selected.
For Layering purposes, hens should have a shorter non-laying period with a high laying rate.
Laying hens that have below 2 characters have high egg-laying capacity with large size eggs;
4 fingers-size, between the posterior end of the keel bone and the pubic bone and
3 fingers-size, between two pubic bones
Breeding rooster should have the capacity to control the whole flock of chickens.
For example – Rooster with characters of giving priority to hens while feeding and mediating when hens are fighting.
