Signs of inbreeding

Some piglets are born with hernias (prolapsed intestines) growth slower among the litter, which may be a sign of inbreeding.

Please consider to change the boar and sow with do not take piglet from litter that have high rate of intestinal collapse for breeding.

If these changes come from other villages, the occurrence of this problem is very small.

The quality and quantity of feed must be balanced to prevent the sow becoming too fat at the beginning or too thin during breathfeeding.

Both of these conditions can cause reproductive problems.
