I saw stem borer in my paddy farm. What pesticide should I spray in my fields? I am afraid the shops as they are giving me wrong pesticides

If the plants are young, use Profenofos/Acetamepridqy. it is important to drain the water from the paddy field and spray thoroughly especially to reach at the base of the paddy plants. Please read the labels for instructions and dosage recommendation.

You can apply systemic insecticide like chloramtraniliprole it is effective for rice stem borer.
