I've heard people say that the soil is salty, the soil is sour, and the soil is spicy. What does that mean?
It is called soil pH. Soil pH is a measure of how acidic (sour) or alkaline (salty) the soil is. It is measured on a scale from 0 to 14 and 7 is neutral or balance condition. Value below 7 indicade acidity and above 7 indicate alkalinity. Like people preference different on the food taste, the plants prefer different pH. Too extreme is not good and you need to adjust by apply natural fertilizers. Let me know if you need more clarification.
What about the land of the scoundrels?
