What type of fertilizer should be used for sweet potato plants to ensure good growth and abundant tubers?

Be careful. I applied urea fertilizer and the plants are very big but the tubers are not.

Sweet potato prefers fertilzer that contain balnace of nitrogen, phosporus and potassium like 10-10-10 compound fertilizer. It is also better to use the compost or natural fertilzier as they are providing the nutrients to the plants and creating the better soil structure which help the sweet potato tubers to grow well. You can apply urea fertilizer at the vegetable stage.

Use fertilizers that are high in Phosphorous, Potassium, and Calcium.
