It can be the symptom of Magnesium (Mg) Deficiency in Papaya plant. It happened in the acidic soil or sandy soil. Apply lime powder or organic compost to keep the soil pH balance and better moisture balance.

The symptoms may be due to magnesium deficiency or environmental stress. Try applying a balanced amount of compost to improve soil health, and spray a solution of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) on the leaves to supply magnesium. Also, manage watering carefully (not over watering and under watering) and protect the plant from excessive sunlight. Monitor the plant for about a week. If the interveinal yellowing persists or worsens, and you observe leaf spots or wilting, a fungal disease might be involved.

It's a nutritional deficiency. It's a nutritional deficiency. . . You can give it some leafy greens that contain a little bit of it.
