- Partial harvesting can be done when fish become marketable size depending on the market and price.
- Must reduce water level and use net in partial harvesting.
- Partial harvesting can be done many times as necessary, but fish can get stress and injuries and pond become turbid.
- Therefore, a lot of fish can be harvested at a time and some of the remaining fish can be hold within fish pond with a hapa to sell later.
- Use soft net to minimize the injuries to fish.
- Partial harvesting should be done in the morning and water should be filled to original depth immediately after harvesting since water in the pond is reduced.
