Disease caused by parasites

• Parasites ÷ When fish are infected with parasites, fish farmers can choose to use the following treatment methods ÷

 Place bamboo stakes, boards, wooden poles, cans, etc. to float on the surface of the pond. Every 2-3 days, collect these items and dry them in the sun to kill any germs that attached to them, then put them back in the water.

 So, until you check that all the parasites are gone from the fish pond.

 Potassium permanganate (KMnO4) can be used at a rate of 0.2-0.4 milligrams/liter (pond water) twice a week.

 Or add 25 milligrams of salt per liter 2 to 3 times a month.

 Catch all the fish in the pond and place them in a 2.5% salt solution (2.5 PPT) or use 0.5 milligrams of copper sulfate (CuSO4) per liter of water for 1 to 2 minutes.
