Chemical Fertilizer Application

Farmers must apply three times a year: 

• First time: At the beginning of the rainy season, April-May

• Second time: Between July-August

• Third time: In September and at the end of the season in October

Do not apply fertilizer after October because it is not yet soluble and in the dry season when the plants cannot absorb fertilizer due to insufficient soil moisture. When cashews are between 5 and 7 months old after planting, apply fertilizer (46-0-0 + 18-46-0) at 100 to 150 grams/tree. Children aged between 18 months after planting, that is, between the end of September and October, apply fertilizer (15-5-36) at 150-200 grams/tree, plus soil fertilizer (2MgO+40CaO +25SiO) at 100 to 150 grams if available.
