Spacing

Depending on the life spam of the paddy variety-

• Recommended spacing for 110-135 days- varieties are (6” x 6”) (or) (8” x 8”) (or) (9” x 4 “) 

• Recommended spacing for 145 days-varieties / seasonal or local varieties –(8” x 8”) (or) (8” x10”)

 Spacing should be decided based on level of soil nutrients contents as well.

• For the poor soil condition, (9’ x 4”) or (6 “ x 6”) and

• For the average soil condition to good soil condition (8” x 6”) spacing is recommended.
