Feeding

Feeding

Feeding should be based on the needs of pig, such as breastfeeding piglets, piglets, weaned piglets, growth-out pig for growth and reproduction.

Good pig feed contains sufficient energy, protein, minerals, and vitamins.

Rice bran, breaking rice, red corn, soybeans, potatoes, vegetables, and kitchen waste are the types of feed that most farmers prefer to use.

Pig production, farmers spend about 75-80 percent on feed for pig meat production.

Therefore, to reduce feed costs, farmers should learn how to produce their own feed using raw materials such as red corn, soybeans, rubber seeds, rice bran, tubers, and cassava leaves, etc.

Requires 20 essential amino acids (those amino acids cannot be replaced), meaning that pigs cannot produce them, so they must be provided through diet.

Among these amino acids, there are three most important essential amino acids: Lysine, Methionine, and Tryptophan.

If the feed lacks any essential amino acid, even if the feed contains sufficient nutrients, the pig will not be able to absorb the nutrients well.
