
Farm-made feed can be made with machine or manually.
Indigents are broken rice/rice bran – 400g, dried fish (powder) – 320 g, oil cake – 90 g, casava powder – 100 g, wheat flour – 80 g and salt – 10 g.
With the above proportion, protein content is 27% per 1 kg of feed.
Farm-made feed making process (mechanical)
Firstly, grind dried fish and oil cake by using grinder into find powder.
Sieve rice bran, dried fish powder and oil cake powder through a fine mesh to obtain a uniformly fine powder.
Mix properly the sieved powder with casava powder, wheat flour, salt and water until the mixture is pasty and sticky.
Transform pasty mixture into pellets with extruder (mincer) and extruded pellets which will still contain moisture must be placed in plastic or aluminum bucket.
The fresh pellets should be dried in the sun for 2 days or longer, depending on the temperature.
Keep the dried pellets in waterproof bag and store them at cool and dry place.

Mix all the indigents (dried fish powder, rice bran, oil cake, casava powder, wheat flour, salt) with water and make to get feed to crumble by sieving them through 1 mm fine mesh screen.
The small pieces of pellets must be dry under the sunlight for at least one day and then, store them by keeping waterproof bags.
