Pond preparation

• The fish pond should be 500 square meters or larger, 1.5-2 meters depth, with a strong dike and higher than the highest water level of the year, with the draining system in and out.

• Clean the trash and other waste in pond and clear the mud for the depth of 20-30 centimeters, and then dry the pond to kill predator species and detoxify the bottom of the pond.

• Spread lime to kill predator and improve water quality with a quantity between 10-15 kilograms per 100 square meters and leave for 2-5 days.

• Fence the net surrounds the pond to prevent outside predator entering, protect fish out, and prevent other animals from entering the pond.

• Fill the water 1-1.2 meters (initial stage) and then add more to a depth 1.5-2 meters.
