New pond Preparation

The use of limestone has the following benefits:

• To improve water quality for the acidic soil
• Kills some of the carnivores and pests in the pond that predate fish.
• Reduce pond water turbidit

Animal manure should be used in the following amounts:

• Cattle manure 60-80 kg/100 m2
• Or Wet pig manure 20-35 kg/100 m2
• Or wet poultry manure 10-15 kg/100 m2
• Or green fertilizer (Siam weed...) 20-30 kg/100 m2
