Planting season

Planting season

Based on the experience of farmers, cashew plantations are planted from seedlings, not from seeds. Currently, the cashew seedlings that are planted are grafted seedlings, whose roots are local seedlings and the top is other modern varieties.

The cashew care taking calenda help the cashew get good quality of fruit and speed the harvest time faster than the original season due to genetic and weather factors that affect the conditions of the plantation. Although planting seedlings seems to avoid the hot season, many farmers still start fertilization from May to July, and the harvest still starts from February to April. Most farmers harvest cashews in March. Therefore, harvesting activities seem to be busy during the summer months, which is conducive to transporting cashews from the plantation to the house or to the sales location.
