• Choose seeds from high-yielding and disease-resistant trees harvested in the current season.
• Soak the seeds in cold water for 24 hours to promote faster germination. Only use seeds that have been soaked.
• Prepare a mixture of regular soil, rice husk ash, and compost (1:1:1 ratio), and add 5 grams of white lime. Place the soaked seeds in this mixture inside a cloth bag, burying them 2.5 inches deep.
• Water the seeds regularly. They should sprout within 15-20 days.
• Cashew seedlings can be planted after 3 months. If fed properly, they will reach 30-40 days of age after germination and can be transplanted.
