Collecting Egg for Sale

• Chickens can abandon their nests and not continue brooding the remaining eggs if they are disturbed while laying eggs.

• Hence, be careful not to frighten the chicken when collecting eggs. 

• If there is an abandoned nest, the remaining eggs should be taken and cleaned to start nesting of another hen. 

• A hen can brood 12 eggs, hence some more eggs can be put under the hens that have only few eggs for brooding.
