Natural breeding

Natural breeding

When gilt are 5-6 months age, they begin to seek for boar for the first time.

Younger gilt are not suitable for breeding because their reproductive organs are not yet well developed.

Gilt must be bred when they are 7-8 months age and sired for second and third time.

The average gestation period is 21 days, and this cycle repeats when the sow does not mate successfully.
