Stages for observing mating

• First

 By observing signs of mating (not being quiet and mate other pigs, not eating much, being aggressive), genitals turning red, dark pink, and having sperm).

 Back pressure (the sow remains still) is used (or the other side of the back) to determine the correct breeding time.

• Second

 By bringing the boar closer to the sow, the sow will show clear signs of seeking for mate.

 This should be done directly after feeding in the morning and evening.

 The start of the sow mating season depends on the breeds.

 Domestic sow (local breeds) are bred at the age of 3-4 months, weight 45-50 kg.

 As exotic breeds, mating are found at the age of 6-7 months, weight 60-70 kg.
