• At first, young boar can be kept together in the same cage, but when they weigh 50-60 kg, separate them to avoid biting each other.
• Training young boar should begin when their genitals are ready to mate, around 8 months age.
• The most suitable place for this training is in a pig pen.
• Adult sows that are in full mate should be allowed to mate with young boar to get them well known each other.
• Do not let the boar and sow mating in front of the training area, as this can cause it to develop a bad habit forever.
• When first starting, the young boar should be helped, as is the owner, by inserting the penis into the sow genitals and allowing it to mount successfully.
• During breeding, there must be no interference from other boars.
