Since cashews do not have strong taproots, they are easily toppled by strong winds and have many worms that burrow into the roots, mulching is necessary, especially in sandy soils. When cashews are under 4 years old, every time fertilizer is applied, the mulch should be mulched with a tractor. When mulching with a tractor, the soil should be pushed against the cashew tree trunks in the east first, so that all the trees that need to be mulched first, because the wind always blows strongly from the west. This prevents us from being able to do it in time. Until next year, we will push the soil against the trunks in the west again.
