Slow Growth Rate

Absence of practice in selecting good quality breeds for raising purpose.

For example, if broiler breeds and fighting breeds are inbreeded, good qualities of each breed could be extinct. While fighting cocks tend to strong fights and are resistant to injuries, Myanmar Sit Ta Kaung chicken breeds do not fight each other. When these two breeds are inbreeded, it will have negative impact on body weight and growth rate. 

The practice of selecting biggest chickens in the same flock for sale and continue raising the smaller ones also cause for slower growth rate.
